Current Beauty Favorites / Spring 2019

It has been a while since I've given you my favorite beauty items, so since spring is coming to an end and summer is coming close, I thought this would be a good time to show my top favorites. Some of these are favorites I've had for a long time and some are new! If you're interested in shopping for some new makeup, I hope this post is helpful!

One: The classic beauty sponge. Well, not the "classic" classic - that would be the Beauty Blender. This is the dupe/cheaper version. And it works AMAZING. It is less than $10 and you can find it at many places: Amazon, Ulta, and Target are probably your go-to stores. It is great for your concealer, foundation, contour, powder, and really just about whatever you need it for when applying your makeup. Run it under cold water, squeeze the water out, and bounce the sponge on your face (don't swipe it across your face) to apply your makeup.

Two: This mascara is the dupe/cheaper version of the Too Faced Better than Sex mascara. It makes your lashes look longer and fuller. Every girl on Insta and Pinterest is talking about it. I bought it recently and yes, I love it, too!

Three: The contour palette. There are many so many to choose from, but this one can't do wrong. It's a little bit pricey, but worth the investment. I've had mine for a year and a half, use it every day, and still have so much product remaining!

Four: This shimmery blush is so insanely beautiful! I just bought it this past week and holy cow, it is perfect!

Five: My classic, go-to, never fails me, face powder. My mom uses it and won't use any other powder. I've tried several kinds and always come back to it because it never fails to fix my makeup.

Six: MAC lipsticks are my all time favorites. Here are my three top favorite colors: Lovelorn (light pink), Velvet Teddy (nude), and Girl About Town (magenta). I'll try making a post of MAC lipsticks and summer lipsticks soon!

Seven: Brow Pomade. A friend recommended this to me years ago and I never made the purchase. But I finally did and I'm so glad I did! It has lasted me for months so far and I still have more than half the container left. So stinking good!

Eight: Another new purchase that I'm obsessing over. The colors are beautiful and the pigments are incredible! I feel like my face looks more refreshed with these eyeshadows on. A little pricey (most eyeshadow palettes are), but still cheaper than the Urban Decay ones, so that's good!

Nine: Rose water facial spray helps to keep your face hydrated, refreshed, and keeps your makeup on longer. This bottle is $7. A makeup setting spray that does similar things costs over $20. I highly recommend this one!

Ten, Eleven, and Twelve: Hair products that I love! Moroccan Oil is my ultimate favorite hair product. I just have to be careful about buying it since it is over $40. Perfect for a Christmas gift ;) Aquage Uplifting Foam is the best root lifting foam out there, in my own opinion. A southern girl has to have big hair, right? And finally, Living Proof restoring spray. This helps to smooth out my hair and prepare it for blow drying. Really, any Living Proof product is going to be fantastic! Check out their dry shampoo. You're welcome. :)

Whew, that was a long post, but I hope it was helpful and fun! You can shop all the products below OR follow me in the LIKEtoKNOW.it app under Simply Miss Mariss.
