Quarantine Journal

Quarantine. Not a word I expected for 2020, but here we are. We might be towards the end, we might only be in the middle. I couldn't tell you where we are at with this virus. But this I know, no matter where we stand, life can still be good.
I'm currently sitting on my bed day dreaming about all the things I could be doing on this beautiful day. Shopping would be nice - actually, better than nice. I long to go into a LOFT, TJ Maxx, Anthropologie, or even Trader Joe's. I've been to the grocery store several times. I've even been in Target. But it's not the same as before. Having to Lysol or Clorox everything I buy before putting it away is a pain, but necessary. I don't like it, but I'll do it.
Today, I cleaned out my closet (for the second time during this self isolation..) and I put away the last of my fall/winter clothes. I brought out my summer clothes. It's not the same as shopping, but it reminded me to be grateful for the things I do have. But I may be adding a couple of pairs of leggings into my online cart anyways. ;)
It is so beautiful outside, so I plan to spend some time in the sunshine today. I did manage to go to Hope Depot earlier this week and buy some paint for some furniture in my house. Today might just be the perfect day for some DIY work!

While this season feels weird, I'm trying to embrace it as best as I can. I may not be doing the best at it, but what really is "best" in this unknown place? I don't have advice for anyone out there, except for take it one day at a time. Open your Bible more often. Journal your thoughts, feelings, and prayers. And reach out to those who care for you. And maybe grab another pair of leggings because we don't know how much longer we will be lounging around the house! ;)

BLACK FRIDAY - MACY'S

After previewing Macy's Black Friday sale, I am determined to buy some kitchenware! There are so many options! The prices are so good, too! The sales are over 50% off, making many items over $100 dollars cheaper! Girls, get to shopping! :)

FALL SHOE CRUSH

Shoe shopping can either be tons of fun or a serious pain. I find shoe shopping for the fall is on the fun side! They can be pretty pricey, though, and that is where it gets tricky. Each year, I choose just one pair of shoes for fall, so that I don't have to pay a lot of money. The booties that I have now were bought about four years ago, so I know it is time for a new pair!
I'm not sure I can pick a favorite from these options just yet, so we will all be surprised by which ones I actually buy! They are all so cute! If you have a favorite pair, send me a link or a picture! ;)

Whatever you end up with this fall, I hope you have fun shopping!

MY PINK LILY FAVORITES - FALL 2019

Do you love shopping at boutiques? I adore them! I love to spend my Saturdays browsing boutiques with my mom. I also love browsing their shops online. Pink Lily is one of my favorite online shops. Their items are always perfectly in style with the season. They keep their prices affordable, which is helpful for this post college/new teacher budget.
I am sharing my top favorites from this fall below. Grab a cup of tea, click through my faves, and have some fun shopping!
